Working with and recording money can difficult to teach. Pupils need lots of practice, and this is exactly what Money Talks! provides. In four simulated settings - At the Checkout, Shopping, Eating Out and Loot - they work with the language of money, whilst consolidating basic number skills.
A range of pre-set files linked to the Numeracy Strategy, attractive displays and easy customisation match Money Talks! to primary and lower secondary. Costs, totals, number of items bought or sold, currency, plus the level of on-screen help available, are just some of the variables which can be changed. It can even be set up as a test for assessing skills and identifying weaknesses.
