Always make sure you've the latest version of your current operating system and, from time to time, check you have the latest drivers for your sound and graphics cards. Drivers are small pieces of software that act as 'translators' between the operating system and it's hardware. Most drivers are easy to install and come with full instructions - some even come with a 'widget' that does most of the work for you! Why might you need new ones?
