This latest CD is designed to appeal to older struggling readers, aged 8 - 14, and covers NC 1 - 3a. There are 25 games in five fantasy worlds: Underworld, Search for the Yeti, Rising Damp, Pirate Ship and Lost in Space. Each world covers a hierarchy of skills, progressing from segmenting and blending phonemes, and recognising whole words, through reading complete sentences for meaning, to reading paragraphs of non-fiction text for comprehension and recall.
