Structured, progressive phonic reading games to enable pupils to progress with their reading whilst having fun.
Ideal as a resource to use with Letters and Sounds Phase 2 and 3 and especially for students with reading difficulties including dyslexia, trugs is a great resource for group or 1:1 use. Fun educational card games lead you through the reading stages making the essential progressive phonic structure easy to follow. If required, progress can be monitored/assessed using the short text at each reading stage within the Monitoring Booklet.
Trugs follows specific aspects of the Government's DCSF Core Criteria as recommendations for a highly structured systematic phonic resource. It can be used alongside all phonic reading programmes used in primary and secondary schools.
Each Box contains 20 card games, a Reading Booklet, a Monitoring Booklet and an Instruction Booklet.
