Dotty Maths helps children improve their number skills by using dot notation in a game format. It is played by making connecting equations from randomly drawn tiles with different amounts of dots and mostly + or - symbols.
The game is quite straightforward to learn - it has a Demo mode to illustrate play and the full rules at the push of a button. There are also on-screen 'Help' messages. The game can be played by two players, two teams or solo against the clock. Each game lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, and a Turn Timer is available to regulate the time allowed per turn.
