This updated version of I Can Spell has improved support for early phonics. The program draws pupils in so that they don't realise how much practice they're getting. It includes six activities: Beginnings and endings/prefixes and suffixes; Look Say Cover Write Check; Spotting errors/making corrections; Finding words within words; Sequencing letters; Ladders and levels game. Teachers can create their own word lists to supplement the comprehensive spelling lists provided. Any number of configurations can be defined to suit the needs of particular groups or individuals.
