Young children learn through play as they develop their understanding of habitats and the environment, all with the help of Polka, Dot and Bob the Hedgehog. There's a lot to do in Polka Dot Park, including making a new pond, hunting for minibeasts in the Park Keeper's garden or building a bird box in the woods. Polka, the friendly adult rabbit, can guide children through activities with supportive narration or, alternatively, children can learn through exploration with Dot, whose activities are narration-free. In addition, Bob the Hedgehog's short, focused activities offer opportunities to develop sorting and sequencing skills as well as consolidating key vocabulary.
