Designed to be used alongside any phonics scheme, Clicker Phonics takes children from the first steps of discriminating environmental sounds right up to systematic synthetic phonics. The programs develop speaking and listening skills and phonological awareness, followed by a programme of systematic phonic work. This is an easy yet powerful way to use ICT to support all 3-to-6-year-olds, plus older pupils who are struggling with reading. The activities can be used for whole-class teaching with the whiteboard, and for individual work. Clicker Phonics 3 - Rhyme Time Children engage in a variety of activities that encourage them to recognise and play with rhyming words, rhyming couplets and longer rhymes. Children experiment by inventing and recording their own rhymes. They create rhymes about nursery rhyme characters, write their own rhyming couplets and record rhyming strings of real and nonsense words. Requires Clicker 5 to run.
