A fun, stand-alone CD, which provides an engaging environment for users to practise areas of phonemic weakness, and helps to increase confidence in this essential skill for fluent reading and spelling.
The activities focus on developing phonemic awareness, including the ability to attend to, identify and manipulate the sounds that are representative of graphemes in the English language. Many of the activities on the CD will be familiar to those working within the NLSword level framework. Suitable for KS1 and 2 pupils, it is also ideal for older learners who are experiencing specific phonological difficulties. The CD is accompanied by a Phoneme Workbook, which is full of photocopiable extension activities.
