Ideal for students with poor manual dexterity, this software provides simple operation from the keyboard, mouse, trackerball, switches (via SAW) or overlay keyboard and gives access to the tools and facilities for the shape and space components of key stages 1-4. Shapes are constructed as if using a pencil, compass or ruler; the user defines the reference points on the screen - the ends of lines, centre points of arcs etc - and AccessMaths automatically and accurately draws the shape. Drawing tools allow the swift and accurate construction of lines, squares, rectangles, circles, semi-circles, ellipses, triangles, polygons, parallelograms, arcs and pie charts. The measuring tools - a ruler, protractor and set square - can be manipulated freely around the drawing area. The tools are complemented by a full set of editing facilities, including scale and rotation tools. You can specify choice of background grid, import an image, and create and edit text for annotating your drawings.
