Streetwise is aimed at children aged 14+ and has an older and more sophisticated approach to supporting personal and social education, which will appeal to both teenagers and young adults. A built-in scanning option and extensive speech support allow access for a wide range of users including those with SEN. It provides seven key activities that support learning in social competence, addressing issues such as healthy eating, safety in the home, formal interview techniques and key life choices like drugs and alcohol. Staying Safe identifies area of potential danger in the home. Skill Squares focuses on the appropriate skills for a wide variety of jobs by matching key skills to the appropriate job. Choices is a video analysis activity, encouraging children to think about some of the social and life choices facing them, such as drugs, sex and alcohol. Face to Face explores social competence in formal situations, such as a job interview. Finally, Food For The Day encourages children to consider their diet and lifestyle to see if it is healthy.
