The Framework Editor

The Imagine Logo Framework editor is an open framework created in Imagine Logo for building frameworks!

Click here to run the projectIt allows teachers and children to quickly and easily create drag and drop style screen based activities, which can be saved as free standing Imagine Logo projects, and then even used in a browser!

The Framework is FREE with Imagine Logo and automatically installs onto your hard drive. To run it:

  • Click on Start, then Programs. Go to Imagine and select Imagine Launcher.

  • From the options now available to you on the screen, click on 'Create a new Drag and Drop Framework'. The program will now run.

The Framework toolbar:

File related tools (These execute an action when pressed)
New project
Load project
Save project for children - saves the project without the framework
Background - Clean/Load/Save/Edit
 
Tools to place objects (Click to place objects on the current page)
Movable object
Group of stacks (Pop-up window)
Stack object (single item)
 
User tools (Click to place tools on the current page)
Grow/Enlarge - Increases size of object
Rotate
Shrink - Reduces size of object
Bin - Erases a selected item on the screen
Text
Paint
 
Developer tools
New Page - Adds a new page (works only on last page of project)
Magnet - Click on this tool to place a hotspot magnet on your image
Grow/Enlarge - Click on this tool and then on the object to enlarge
Shrink - Click on this tool and then on the object to shrink
Erase - Click on this tool and then on the object to erase
