Fifteen games to stretch your imagination and challenge your mental agility. In each of the games victory comes only with a sound understanding of the winning strategy. To win, you must decide whether to play first or not and then follow a winning strategy without error. Analysing the position can be anything from very easy, in the earlier games, to very complex.
The games are arranged in order of difficulty. Whilst the winning strategy for the easiest games will be quickly discovered, the hardest games will take a lot longer! Each game has four levels; each level has a range of random starting positions. On screen hints are available for all games. The lowest level of hints may just indicate whether the computer thinks it will win or not. Full hints describe the winning strategy. Intermediate hints help you to find the winning strategy. Each hint can be turned on or off, or they can be made available only via a password.
The games are varied but all are easy to understand, making this an invaluable extension tool for classroom use.
Delivery times/costs:
Stock items can be despatched within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Using second class post delivery will be within a further 3-4 days. Non-stock items will be delivered normally in 7-10 working days.
For prepaid software orders delivered within the UK, R-E-M pay for second class post and packing. First class post is available on these deliveries for an additional charge of £1 per prepaid order.
Packing and carriage on all other UK orders is charged at 3% of order value subject to a minimum charge of £2.95 and a maximum charge of £9.50 plus VAT.
Overseas orders are charged at cost.
